Privacy Policy

Pixel Fist Respects your Privacy

We respect the rights of privacy that any and all members, users, visitors, or any other group that may make use of the site is entitled to have. Pixel Fist does not distribute any information collected on this site to any other third parties or persons.

The information we collect

Pixel Fist currently only collections information that our forums require to create an account on the site, the information includes a user name, an email, and a password among optional profile information such as age and location. This information is only to be used by you to login and manage your identity and settings on the site, and also used by us to monitor who wrote each article. Additionally we track which articles have the most visits but not who visits them. The forums may collect which topics and posts you visit and write but it is only used so you may keep track of it. The biggest piece of information we collect that you should be aware of is your IP address. It’s a series of numbers that represents where your computer is located and is unique to each network which then has local IP’s for each computer connected to it. We track which IP is used to ensure that people are who they say they are, check whether users have been hacked, or to ban problem users from accessing the site along with the occasional check on suspicious posts to make sure someone hasn’t signed up twice.

Our Security

We have taken the necessary precautions into making sure that the site and all your information is secure. All passwords are put into a hash where they can’t be converted back into their original characters. The database is only accessed by a single password user account, which is hard-coded into each page so the account may not be accessed by anything other than scripts written by the authorized programmers.

Services Cancelation

If you wish to cancel your subscription to the services Pixel Fist provides you may contact Jay Zawronty (jay@pixelfist.com) and request that your account be renamed to something general and your profile information be removed. However we will not delete your account or your posts unless for legal reasons or from at the acting staff’s discretion.

Privacy Concerns

Please direct all your privacy concerns to Jay on the forums and site or reach him by email jay@pixelfist.com. Please allow at least 24 hours for a response before following up with the same email.
